Are all the alligators in the park real?

Yes, every alligator you see at Everglades Safari Park is real.

Will I need mosquito repellant?

We recommend bringing mosquito repellant during the warm months of the year. During cooler months and windy days it is not necessary however we advise using your discretion here.

Can I wear sandals?

Yes, but please watch your step!

How should I dress when visiting Everglades Safari Park?

We always recommend dressing in accordance to the weather but we suggest wearing whatever makes and keeps you comfortable.

What is the minimum age requirement for children?

Our minimum age requirement is 8 months.

Are airboat rides safe for pregnant women?

We recommend checking with you doctor prior to visiting Everglades Safari Park.

Are pets allowed on the tour?

No, for the safety of your pet and our visitors we do not allow pets on our tours.

Does Safari Cafe serve alligator meat?

Yes! Come chomp into our world-famous Gator Bites!

Do airboat tours still run in the rain?

Yes, as long as there is no lighting or thunder. Just in case you forget yours, we have ponchos available for purchase in the Safari Gift Shop.

Will I get wet on the ride?

Only if you join us on a rainy day!

I can't find the park on my GPS. How do I get there?

Everglades Safari Park is located just 15 miles West of the Florida Turnpike on the Tamiami Trail, U.S. 41 or better known as SW 8th ST. Please visit our How To Get Here page for directions from different locations.

Our National Park Airboat Tours are currently offered in American English.

We are open 365 days of the year from 9 am - 5 pm EST.

What is included in the Tour?

General admission National Park Airboat Tours include a 30-40 minute Airboat ride, Alligator Show, Nature Trails, & access to Park Exhibits. 40 minute Private National Park Eco-Adventure Airboat Tour includes Airboat ride, Alligator Show, Nature Trails, & access to Park Exhibits. 60 minute Private National Park Eco-Adventure Airboat Tour includes Airboat ride, Alligator Show, Nature Trails, & access to Park Exhibits.

Do you need a reservation?

No, you do not need a reservation for our general admission Eco-Adventure tour. However, reservations are required for Private National Park Airboat Tours require a reservation.

How far in advance should I book a private tour?

We recommend booking your Private National Park Airboat Tour as soon as you decide to visit Everglades Safari Park. If you haven't booked a private tour in advance we encourage you to call and ask if we have available slots, even if it is on the same day you would like to visit.

How often do the airboats go out?

Our airboat tours depart every 20-30 minutes.

What time is the last tour?

Our last tour departs at 4 pm EST. We recommend arriving earlier in order to experience everything we offer at Everglades Safari Park.

How long does it take to complete everything in the park?

On average, our visitors spend about 2-3 hours exploring the park. There is quite a bit to experience at Everglades Safari Park, from airboat tours to interactive wildlife shows, nature trails to gator bites! It's truly an unforgettable experience.

No, parking is complimentary when you visit the park.
